FCorp – ID Book 2016.6

ID Book is a handy application from Fahmy Corporation that makes it easy to manage contacts on a PC. The free contact manager is portable, which means you will simply download the ZIP archive and extract the software to your desired destination.

The program is divided into two main sections, with the tabs on the left pane determining what appears on the main right side.

The left pane contains three tabs for ID Manager, ID Viewer and ID Card Creator respectively, but the last one is still inactive. The developers have promised to add the functionality soon. There are also tabs on the upper and lower parts of the pane for offering support and accessing more software.

The ID Manager tab gives you the opportunity to record comprehensive details about the contact you are recording. Apart from the usual details like name, group, company, occupation, address, phone number, e-mail address and different IM contacts, the program allows you to enter more personal details like birth place and date, height, weight, blood group and relevant zodiac name. Other details you may add include hobby, ambition, favorite food, favorite drink and tag. You can add multiple tags separated by commas.

Once you have entered the required details, you can preview how they will appear. Another button allows you to search the contact on either Facebook or Twitter, and you can search by name, nickname or e-mail address. You also have the option to automatically export the birthday to your ‘My Calendar’ app and filter contacts by selected categories and sub categories.
