You may need to know the current times in different places for one reason or another. May be you would like to contact family or friends in different parts of the world or you are a freelancer who needs to keep deadlines in different time zones. Whatever your reason is, World Time Calculator will help you to effortlessly calculate the times among multiple time zones.
Using World Time Calculator
The software installed quickly without a hitch even though our SmartScreen filter (IE users only) gave us a warning when we started the installation. When we launched the application, it opened a simple graphical user interface with just a few options.
The space for the source time on the upper part of the window displayed our current computer date and time. Below it was the space for inputting the source time zone, with a check box just below it for selecting the current local time. We could only change the source time zone when the check box was not marked. In that case, a drop-down list allowed us to select the required time zone.
There were buttons for adding or deleting time zones on the lower part of the user interface, which were displayed in a space remaining on the rest of the window. Clicking the “Add Time Zone” button opened a window with a drop-down list for selecting the desired time zone. We selected the required time zone and clicked “OK” to display it on the “World Time” space.
We could add multiple times, which the program displayed at the same time for easy comparison. When we added more time zones than could be displayed at once, we had the option to scroll. When we wanted to remove a time zone, we clicked on it and then clicked the “Del Time Zone” button, which brought up a confirmation window where we needed to click “Yes” to complete the process.
We did not have to enter the required time zones whenever we started the application because it kept the selected ones in memory.
World Time Calculator is a simple application that allows users to display different time zones on the same user interface. It installs quickly and retains the selected time zones in memory.
